Scroll up and down, left and right, to get a feel for the incredible panoramic view from the deck. The view faces west, offering some unmatched sunsets! You can see Guttenberg, Iowa along with lock and dam #10, to the south (pan left). To the north (pan right) is Bagley Wisconsin. Watch barges and river boats, speed boats and anglers as they make their way up and down the river. Enjoy a birds eye view of parties on the sandbars of McMillan and Frenchtown island. The fourth of July is always a special treat as communities and partiers up and down the river celebrate America with fireworks displays. Wintertime brings air boats, ice fishing, and eagles hunting the patches of open water sometimes dozens at a time. Watch and hear the massive ice sheets break way in the springtime, and place bets on the first barge sighting. Share the migration of millions of ducks, geese, pelicans, and other waterfowl as they make their way through this national fish and wildlife preserve. If that is not enough, you can experience summertime thunderstorms rolling in from the north west in a way that is hard to describe. This is a one-of-a-kind place on this planet earth.
